The Takemi Memorial Medical Library

The Takemi Memorial Medical Library was opened in 1989 for the purpose of explaining radioisotopes and modern medicine to the public in an easily understandable manner.
It was named in commemoration of Dr. Taro Takemi, who contributed for many years to the use of radioisotopes in medicine.
  
"Radioisotopes and Radiation" Corner

This corner explains radioisotopes and radiation in an easily understandable manner by making it possible for visitors to measure natural radiation, try out manipu-lators (remote manipulating devices), answer quiz questions by personal computer, etc.

Exhibition Hall

Here a very interesting world unfolds to visitors, including an artificial internal organ robot who 'talks' to them, exhibition of medical images of the human body and themes such as "the relationship between the brain and the heart" and "immunity", which are important to understanding of modern medicine.
