The Association's four committees, i.e. the "Physical Science and Industry Committee," the "Life Science Committee" and the "Medical Science and Pharmaceutical Committee," which consist of scientists and technicians, and the "Radiation Protection Supervisors Committee," as well as its various committees are engaged in research and survey activities and in activities for wider application of knowledge and technology regarding radioisotopes.



Holding of training courses for qualification of first class Radiation Protection Supervisors(designated by the Ministry of Education,Culture,Sports,Science and Technology), and other various training courses and educational classes on radioisotope technology.

Holding of annual meetings on radioisotopes in the physical sciences
and industries as well as scientific lectures visits training courses, etc.


The monthly magazine "Isotope News" furnishes the latest information concerning radioisotope utilization technologies, radiation protection, etc. The scientific journal "Radioisotopes" publishes papers submitted by Association members, including original papers and technical reports. The Association also edits and publishes collections of legal texts, commentaries, manuals, Japanese translations of the ICRP publications, videotapes for educational
and training purposes, etc.
